Lavandula angustifolia naturaalne absoluut Prantsusmaalt, IFF-i toodang.

Lõhnab väga sarnaselt värske lavendli õisikule, pehme ja sametine. Võrdluseks: eeterlik õli on teravama tipunoodiga ning asub lõhnaomadustelt mõnevõrra kaugemal värske lavendli lõhnast.

Enamusele inimestele, kellele meeldib lavendli eeterlik õli, meeldib rohkemgi lavendli absoluut.

Arctander: Lavender Absolute has a very rich, sweet-herbaceous, somewhat floral odor; in dilution it bears a close resemblance to the odor of flowering lavender fields. Its woody-herby undertone and coumarin-like sweetness duplicates the odor of the botanical material far better than does the essential oil. The absolute is sweeter but less floral than the essential oil; the two materials can form a very pleasant combination. The difference in smell comes from coumarin, umbelliferone and sclareol, which are not distillable, when making essential oil.

Lavender Absolute blends vell with labdanum, oakmoss, vetiver, patchouli, pine needle oil, coumarin, geraniol and esters, clary sage.

60% lavendli absoluut (40% naturaalne viljapiiritus), mil aine on paremini valatav, tilgutatav.
